Marketing Collateral Design
The objective of this project was to design marketing collateral systems for the Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium, funded by NASA’s National Space Grant College and Fellowship Program. We focused on creating a marketing system that would hypothetically work at a high level, down to individual component levels, across multiple forms of print and digital media.
We used existing brand guidelines, content, and shared Adobe libraries to redesign existing and new marketing collateral using InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. We came together as a class to agree on guidelines we would all follow in order to deliver a cohesive package of social media graphics, so this project was completed at both a team and individual level. We also had the chance to work directly with the client to ask questions and get feedback.
*Class Mood Board
For my portion of this project, I was assigned to create deliverables for the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Program. This was a branch of the Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium that experimented with drones, so my goal was to have the drones be the main focus of my designs. As a class, we decided that we wanted to have lots of 2D illustrations that each branch could be identified with or easily understood. Each flyer, whether it was for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, a postcard, or a poster, had a lot of information to fit. In order to create an effective and legible design, I used the simple drone designs and light clouds in the back to show the main concept of this program.
I created a large poster that was the main piece, as well as multiple different ads for each social media platform, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter/X, as well as a postcard.
